The London Borough of Brent is situated in north west part of London and forms part of Outer London. It includes 21 wards: Alperton, Barnhill, Brondesbury Park, Dollis Hill, Dudden Hill, Fryent, Harlesden, Kensal Green, Kenton, Kilburn, Mapesbury, Northwick Park, Preston, Queen? Park, Queensbury, Stonebridge, Sudbury, Tokyngton, Welsh Harp, Wembley Central, Willesden Green.

Brent was formed in 1965 combining parts of Wembley and Willesden of Middlesex. The origin of the name comes from the River Brent which runs through the Borough.
